This is my entry in the DC Comics Confessions contest.
I’ve been a comic fan for about 17 years, and a serious collector for about 12. As you can see, I’m primarily a DC fan. It’s ‘my’ comic company. Not counting recent years, my company has been pretty good to me. It’s made me laugh, it’s made me cry, it’s made me incoherent with rage…and it’s made me care. The books I have here? They’re there for me. No matter what my company does from here on out, these stories are here for me to read. To enjoy. To pass on to others. And you can bet your Batsignal I do! My comic collection is like a private library, and I am the librarian that loves dudes in spandex. If my books can make one person care about comics like I do after they’ve read them, I consider it a drop in the win bucket. The win bucket is pretty big, though. It’ll take a lot of drops to fill it up, so I’d best get to lending
holy hell this is pretty
